Supply Chain Strategy

Today’s Challenge:
MÖBIUS is often invited to develop a coherent supply chain strategy for (a group of) companies. Working on stand alone aspects of a supply chain strategy can lead to the identification of opportunities for designing a total approach. Before implementing a supply chain tool suite, it is wise to assure that the concepts to implement are sound and operational.

MÖBIUS' added value:
Supply chain design projects tend to assume a static environment in order to provide an optimal solution. However, this solution will never be feasible in real life world because of the continuously changing working environment (customer needs, economic factors, supplier conditions, etc.). In order to better approach real life world and to assess the future evolution, we introduce a dynamic approach using simulation. What-if scenarios are simulated to fit realistic conditions, rather than providing a single point optimum.
